Are there giants in your promise land? Anytime we launch out of our comfort zone, we will find giants. The giants of fear of failure and doubts of being worthy. To shrink the giants we must remember God has begun a great work in you. (Philippians 1:6) He will continue that good work so we can persevere with confidence, receiving our strength and wisdom from the “stream” of God’s Spirit and love.
“But blessed are those who trust in the Lord
and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.
8 They are like trees planted along a riverbank,
with roots that reach deep into the water.
Such trees are not bothered by the heat
or worried by long months of drought.
Their leaves stay green,
and they never stop producing fruit. Jeremiah 17 :7-8
God does delight in you, trust Him to lead to a place of peace, security, filled with His grace as you transform into a giant killer.(Psalm 18:19)
The following stanza of a poem expressed the hope of living a life trusting God:
Faith pierces through the mist of doubt that barsThe coming night sometimes, and finds the stars. The Lord is sure to accomplish those things,O trusting heart, the Lord to you has told;Let Faith and Hope arise, and lift their wings,To soar toward the sunrise clouds of gold; The doorways of the rosy dawn swing wide,Revealing joys the darkness of night did hide. Bessie Porter
Thank you Father for being my living water, strengthen me to be open to your leading as you complete your work in me. I will rest in the security of Your love. ~ in Jesus name, AMEN
