“As of 2012, about half of all adults—117 million people—have one or more chronic health conditions. One of four adults has two or more chronic health conditions.”

If you are not suffering with a chronic illness you know someone that does. Empowering individuals and families who live with a chronic illness has been a high interest for me. I have worked with support groups for individuals and couples. Last spring I was invited to give a presentation on the subject of Chronic Illness, sponsored by the Boone Center for Family Studies, at the Pepperdine Bible Lectures. The 45 minute video of the presentation with the accompanying handouts and power point is now available to educate and encourage. Healing When There is No cure is a wellness view of chronic illness. A wellness perspective focuses on passion and purpose not pain and suffering.
